Went walking on Sunday, a damp and foggy day.
Damp and foggy in my head, too.
jumbled and vague..i miss the strattera.
she gave me some samples for a lower dosage thatmay not kill my stomach, but of course i LOST THEM. My mom found them so I need to get them back but should i really start it again? It is not for long term use, I will just have to stop again eventually. Behavior modification is not working so well.
Here is a painting from sunday morning.
watercolor and pen and ink and pencil

wow, what a beautiful body. i sense your unhappiness in the painting, yet i can't help but notice the gorgeous body.
stiil, shawna, it doesn't look the woman with her dog on the Sunday walk. isn't it a shame that we don't prefer the body in the painting.
hope you feel better. it sucks that we can't always use the meds that make us feel better.
good luck, friend
i had to think about this to make it make sense. Then i realized you were drawing a line between me and the body i painted. The thing is, I didnt get it bc i feel like the body in the image COULD be mine. All the bodies I draw and paint COULD be mine. I have no idea what my body looks like. Really my body image is so all over the place i just try not to let my emotions be TOO influenced by what i see, bc i have no idea what i see.
In art school, the profs. would talk about my bizarree exagerations and abstractions... I was thinking NO I FEEL LIKE IT LOOKS LIKE THAT IT LOOKS LIKE THAT! I LOOK LIKE THAT ...All of this is REAl to ME!!!!
I read that some hospitals will do exercises with girls that require them to trace their bodies on paper on the ground and stuff to make them see how different the body they *think* they see is from the body they actually have...i guess i kind of did the same thing except i pushed the idea really hard in the opposite direction.
I dont know if its good or not, but i really think it helped. For instance, if i felt an overwhelming urge to cut a certain body part, I would draw a body and paint the cuts in...the urge would usually subside.
...
god. i coulda made a whole post outta this comment!!
